Here's a little more information on Ghost Films' documentary which has received funding:

Photofile #90 - Inside the Zombie Birdhouse

Rowland appears on the cover of the August - November issue of Photofile, edited by Ashley Crawford.

Almost everyone has had a time when a photograph of a rock star has graced their bedroom wall. How many thousands of David Bowie's or Deborah Harry's have been thumb-nailed and blue-tacked to suburban walls. And then there are the magazines, a gazillion photographs of everyone from Billy Idol to The Fall. It's an industry in and of itself, the pure idolization of the rock legend - and it all comes down to photography.

Rowland S. Howard Documentary

This is regarding the previous update from January, that Lindsay Gravina and Richard Lowenstein had joined forces to finish Gravina's documentary about Rowland.

Hi, Lindsay Gravina here. As well as producing almost all of Rowland's output since 1998, I began working on a documentary about him in 2004. A few months before his unfortunate passing I was asked to engage Richard Lowenstein's help in order to hasten completion of the documentary. However, since then it appears Richard's Ghost Films now wishes to make it's own film about Rowland, which may or may not include some of my own footage as I will proceed with plans to make a separate documentary with my original intent.

[...] As [Ghost Films] have already been granted funding, it appears now that I will struggle to acquire funding for my own film. For this reason, I need, more than ever, the help of the public should they wish to provide any useable material pertinent to his life story.
